Without Holiness, Love and Compassion No One will See the Lord
In Romans 3: 28, Paul specifically said that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds or
works of the Law of Moses, meaning that a man is not justified by performing any of the
religious rituals or the traditions of the Law of Moses. There are still many theologians,
pastors, ministers and teachers today who do not quite understand what Paul referred to when
he said that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the Law.

The works of the Law referred to the rituals commanded in the Law of Moses; rituals like
animal sacrifices, circumcision, tithes, rituals of water purification through immersion like
baptism, various types of gift offerings, dietary laws and observing days like the Sabbath, the
Passover, Pentecost and many others.   According to Paul each and every rituals that was
required by the Law of Moses were  taken out of the way and nailed to the cross at the time of
the reformation (Hebrews 9:8-10). The reformation refers to the time when Jesus after
becoming the last and ultimate sacrifice that took away the sins of humanity ascended to the
heaven and established a New Covenant under better promises.

In addition to the rituals of the Law, the Law of Moses also required that the Jews carry
themselves in a manner that demonstrated to other nations that they had been set aside by the
Lord. Some of these rituals included, not to steal, not to covet our neighbor's wife and
property, honoring our parents, loving our neighbors, taking care of the widows, the orphans
and the strangers, being righteous and establishing justice, most importantly was to keeping
ourselves holy to God and living in holiness.  None of these commandments were removed
by the fulfillment of the Law; instead these commandments were reestablished by Jesus who
told  us that all of the commandments were fulfilled by the commandments of loving God
with all of our heart, soul and strength and by loving our neighbors as our selves.

Even though the scriptures clearly show that the works that Paul referred to were the rituals
of the Law, many false anointed ones today teach that a man who does not exercise love,
kindness, compassion and righteousness can be saved merely by the grace of God. Such
teachings contradict not only the teachings of Paul, but also the teachings of Peter, John,
James, and Jesus Himself who said that unless our righteousness exceeded the righteousness
of the Pharisees and Scribes we will not enter the kingdom of God (Mathew 5:20).

Please don't be deceived by the lie, prove everything with the very word of God.

Today many theologians, pastors and teachers in an attempt to fill up their assemblies take
scriptures out of content and they interpret them to their likening.  In doing this they are
leading their congregations away from the truth and straight in to the Lake of Fire. They teach
that all a man has to do in order to be saved is to raise his hands and say “Lord, I confess that
I am a sinner, I accept you Jesus as my Lord and Savior,” then join their congregations, give
tithes and offerings and continue believe in God.  However, then they contradict themselves
by making their congregations follow a large number of man-made traditions and religious
rituals while teaching them that without the performance of these rituals a man could not be
saved.

By manipulating feelings and emotions as well as the word of God, many false teachers have
become rich with offerings of hundreds and even thousands of followers.  It is just as Paul
said, that in the latter days many people having itching ears, after their own lusts would find
for themselves teachers and would turn their ears away from the truth, in order to believe
fables instead (2 Timothy 4: 3-4).

Jesus specifically said that a man must repent, be converted, be born again and become as a
little child, in order for him to see or enter the kingdom of God (Matthew 18:3).  Jesus taught
that the way that led us into salvation was very narrow and only a few would find it (Matthew
7:14). Jesus said that those who are merciful, those who are the poor in spirit and in heart and
those who seek for righteousness would be the ones who would inherit the Kingdom of God
(Matthew 5:3-10).  In Mathew 25, Jesus specifically taught that only those who were merciful
and would tend to the needs of those who are least fortunate would enter the Kingdom of
God: He also said that those who did not have mercy would end up in the Lake of Fire (31-46).

Jesus specifically said that not every one who said unto Him, “Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of His Father which is in heaven (Matthew 7:
21)”.   In saying this, Jesus verified that at the time of His return, those who disobeyed the
Gospel of Jesus Christ would be condemned and would be cast into the Lake of Fire, just as
Paul confirmed in the Second epistle to the Thessalonians, chapter 1, verses 7-9, when he
wrote: “ ... when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In
flaming fire taking vengeance on them that do not know God, and that obey not the gospel of
our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence
of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.

The Apostles John and James specifically taught against the heresy and erroneous teachings
which teach that a man has to do nothing in order to be saved.  It is possible that at the time of
their writings many believers misunderstood the writings of Paul just as many do today.  When
Paul said that a person was saved by grace through faith apart of from the works of the Law,
he was simply asserting that Jesus had fulfilled all of the requirements of the Law of Moses
and had taken the Covenant of the Law out of the way because the Law could not justify us,
nor save us.  In doing this, Jesus established a better covenant that came with better promises,
so that we could be saved by the righteous sacrifice that God offered when He send His only
begotten Son to die for our sins at the cross.  The works that Paul referred to, were rituals and
religious activities that were performed in accordance to the Law of Moses and not acts of
goodness, kindness and love. Paul never implied that a person who doesn't exercise goodness,
mercy, kindness, compassion, love and charity would be saved by grace, as many liberal
teachers have erroneously taught.

Lets look at the following scriptures:

Paul wrote: "
though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all
knowledge
; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not
charity, I am nothing
(1 Corinthians 13:1-2)."

Paul also wrote, “brethren, you have been called unto liberty; only
do not use liberty as an
occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another
. For all the law is fulfilled in one
word, even in this; You shall love your neighbor as yourself
(Galatians 5:13-21).”

Peter wrote, “and above all things have fervent charity (love) among yourselves:
for charity
shall cover the multitude of sins
. Use hospitality one to another without grudging (1 Peter 4:
8-9)”

John wrote, “little children, let no man deceive you:
he that does righteousness is righteous,
even as he (Jesus) is righteous...
In this the children of God are manifested, and the
children of the devil:
whosoever does not do righteousness is not of God, neither he that
does not love his brother
(1 John 3:7-10).”

John continued by saying, “
We know that we have passed from death unto life, because
we love the brethren
. He that does not love his brother lives in death. Whosoever hates his
brother is a murderer: and you know that no murderer has eternal life living in him
(1
John 3:14-15).

Concerning those who don’t have mercy, even those who think are living under grace but do
not produce fruits unto the Lord, the Apostle James said, “So speak and do, as those that will
be judged by the law of liberty. For
He shall have judgment without mercy, to those that
have not shown mercy. Mercy triumph over judgment
(James 2:12-13”.”

James addressed those who believed they were saved by faith but did not have compassion,
saying, “
What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith, but does not have
works (good deeds)
? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked, and destitute of daily
food, And one of you says to them, go in peace, be warmed and filled; but you don’t give
them those things which are needed for the body; what does it profit?
Even so faith, if it
does not have works, alone is dead
(James 2:14-18).”

Many theologians do not simply understand that the works spoken by Paul referred to the
religious rituals that were commanded by the Law, and that the works or deeds spoken by
James, when he said that faith without works or deeds is death, refer to the things that a true
Christian does in obedience to the word of God.  God commands us to love God above all
things and to love every man and woman in the same manner that we love ourselves. This
simply means that Christians who have truly been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb who
are truly filled with the spirit of Christ perform deeds of mercy, kindness and compassion. The
death that James refers to when he says that faith without works is death is eternal death in the
lake of fire.

This is the very same message that Jesus conveyed, when He said that a good tree cannot
produce evil fruits, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruits; therefore, every tree that
does not produce good fruit will be cut down, and thrown into the fire (Matthew 7:18-19)."
How can some one who has truly been saved, not produce fruits of love, kindness, mercy and
righteousness.  I tell you the truth, in the day that the Lord judges all the secrets of man, many
so called "Apostles, Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists and Christians" will be cast into the lake of
fire, because they rejected the truth and chose the lie instead.

My dear brethren, do not be deceived, without holiness, love and compassion no one will
enter the kingdom of God!

May the Lord, God and Father bless you with all blessings and keep you in the name of Jesus
our Lord Messiah,

Brother Ivan Maldonado
