The Judgment Of The Great Harlot: Judgment Start At God’s House
In Chapter 17 of the Book of Revelation the Apostle John describes the judgment of a nation that sat on
many waters, and who God calls the Great Whore or Harlot.

The nation had committed fornication with the kings of the earth and the inhabitants of the earth had
become drunk with the wine of her fornication. The harlot sat on a red beast that had seven heads with ten
horns and was full of names of blasphemy. The harlot was dressed in purple and red color, and with gold
and precious stones like pearls. She had in her hand a golden cup that was full of abominations and
filthiness caused by her fornication. The woman had the words “Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of
Harlots and the Abominations of the Earth” written on her forehead and the woman had become drunk with
the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus (Revelation 17:3-6).

An angel proceeded to tell explain the mystery of the Great Harlot. The angel said that the beast with the
seven heads and the ten horns would ascend out of the abyss (the bottomless pit) and go into perdition.
The seven heads of the beast were seven mountains on which the woman sat (Revelation 17:7-9), and the
waters where the woman sat are peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues and woman was the great city,
who reigns over the kings of the earth (Revelation 17:15-18).

The angel said to John that there were are also seven kings, five of them had already fallen, one was
reigning at the time of John, another one would come, but only reign for a short time. The Beats that was
and is not is the eight kings who belongs to the seven kings, but was going to perdition. The ten horns of
the beast are ten kings who had not received a kingdom yet, but at the time of when the beast had risen,
they would receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These had the same mind or thinking,
and would give their power and authority to the beast to fight against the Lamb of God, but the Lamb of
God would overcome. The ten kings would hate the harlot, make her desolate, naked, eat her flesh and
burn her with fire. The angel said that God himself had placed in the hearts of the ten kings to be of one
mind or thinking and to give their power to the beast to fulfill the purpose of God until the words are fulfilled
(Revelation 17:10-17).

Revelation, Chapter 17 has brought a great deal of mystery to many end time bible teachers, who for the
most part do not know who is the nation that God called the Harlot, the Seven Kingdoms were the Harlot
Nation sits and the 10 smaller kingdoms that will one day burn the Harlot Nation with fire until all her
filthiness is poured out of her.  The answer to all of this questions is contained in the Holy Scriptures, they
were prophesied by the prophets, and that is why Revelation 17: says that God has placed in the hearts of
the 10 kings to be of one mind and to give their power to the beast until the words of God are fulfilled.

Let’s look at the mystery of the Harlot, the Beasts and the Ten Horns unfold with the very word of God.

The Woman that dressed in purple and red color like a Queen, Became a Harlot

In Chapter 16 of the book of Ezekiel, God commanded the Prophet Ezekiel to tell the Nation of Jerusalem
about her abominations, and the things that are to come against her for having worshiped the false gods
of the Egyptians, the Babylonians, the Chaldean's and every other nation that came in contact with
Jerusalem. In Ezekiel 16, God calls idolatry, “harlotry.”

In Ezekiel 16 God told the people of Jerusalem that although He had clothed and adorned the people of
the Nation of Jerusalem with a garment of fine linen, silk and gold, and had placed a jewel on their
forehead and a beautiful crown on their head, no other nation in the world had committed harlotry in the
manner that the people of Jerusalem did, who went as far as burning their own children to a pagan god
called Moloch. Just in Ezekiel chapter 16, the Nation of Jerusalem is called a harlot or whore a total of 15
times.

The Nation that Has Killed the Prophets and the Saints will be Judge by Those who Committed
Fornication with Her

In Ezekiel 16:26-41 and 23:22-35, God said that in the latter days, He would Judge the Nation of Jerusalem
for her harlotry and for having killed God’s children, whom they sacrificed to pagan gods like Moloch.
Ezekiel said that in the latter days God would allow the Egyptians, the Philistines, the Assyrians, the
Chaldean's and the Babylonians who had committed fornication (idolatry) with Jerusalem to come against
the Nation of Jerusalem. These nations would attack Jerusalem and judge her as a woman who had
committed harlotry. The nakedness of Jerusalem would be uncovered and she would be burned with fire
and left her naked and bare (Ezekiel 16: 35-43, 23: 22-39).  The prophecy of Ezekiel said that at that time,
God would judge the Nation of Jerusalem as harlot and as a woman who broke wedlock, and He would
bring blood against Jerusalem in fury and in Jealousy (Ezekiel 16:36-41, 23: 26-30).

Jesus said to Jerusalem, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets, and stoned those who are
sent to you, how often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens
under her wings, and you would not allow it! Behold, your house is left to you desolate. For I say unto you,
you shall not see me from now on, until you say, blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord
(Matthew 23:37-39).”  He also prophesied to the people of Jerusalem saying: “And when ye shall see
Jerusalem compassed with armies, and then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which
are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them
that are in the countries enter there into. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are
written may be fulfilled (Luke 21:20-22).”  Jesus added by saying:  “And they shall fall by the edge of the
sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles,
until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled (Luke 21:23-24),”

Jerusalem, the Nation with the Deep and Wide Cup of God’s Indignation

The Prophet Ezekiel also said that in the latter days God would place the deep and wide cup of the
indignation of Samaria in the hands of the Nation of Jerusalem and the Nation of Jerusalem would be filled
with drunkenness and sorrow. Ezekiel said that this would happen because of the sin and idolatry that was
committed by the people of Jerusalem as they sacrificed even their own children to pagan deities like
Moloch, and build places to worship to the gods of the nations of Egypt, Canaan, Assyria and Babylon
(Ezekiel 16:18-43, 23:31-35).

The Voice of Mirth and Gladness and the Voice of the Bridegroom of the Bride will not be Heard in
the Harlot Any Longer

Concerning the judgment of the Harlot, John the Apostle wrote in Revelation 18:21-24 saying, “And a
mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence
shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. And the voice of harpers,
and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of
whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no
more at all in thee; And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the
bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of
the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. (Revelation 18:21-23).”

Jeremiah prophesied the same concerning Jerusalem saying that at the time when God bring judgment
unto her, He would “cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice
of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land
shall be desolate (Jeremiah 7:30-34).”

The leaders of Gog, Magog, Rosh, Meshech, Tubal, Persia, Ethiopia, Libya, Gomer and Togarmah
are the Ten Kings that will one day attack the Harlot

God prophesied through the mouth of Ezekiel the Prophet saying that ten king formerly known as Gog,
Magog, Rosh, Meshech, Tubal, Persia, Ethiopia, Libya, Gomer and Togarmah would one day Attack the
Nation of Jerusalem. Ezekiel prophesied saying that after the people of Israel who had been scattered
throughout the nations were to be return from the sword and brought back to the Land of Israel that has
been desolate for many years, God Himself would place hooks in the mouth the above Ten kings, These
will unite and attack the Land of Israel covering it like a cloud that covers the land (Ezekiel 38:1-23).  The
return of those who were brought from the sword was fulfilled in 1948 when the land of Israel was once
again reestablished.  The prophecy in Ezekiel 38, states that all of the nations of Gog and Magog will join
forces and together will cover the whole Land of Israel as a cloud (Ezekiel 38:9).

The lands that were formerly known as Gog, Magog, Rosh, Meshech, Tubal, Persia, Ethiopia, Libya,
Gomer and Togarmah are now the nations of Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Egypt, Libya,
Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.  The latter 5 were once
part of the USSR, but now are seeking to create a Muslim Union. All of these nations have in common or
one mind, that is that all of them practice the religion of Islam.

In direct correlation with the prophecy of the Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezekiel 38, 39), the teachings of
many who teach the Koran said that in the latter days the People of the Islam (Muslims) would come
together under one Imam (a great Islamic religious leader) who will lead a holy war or “jihad” against Jews,
Christians and anyone who would not convert to the religion of the Islam.  During this Great War, those
who refuse to be converted to the Islam are to be killed by the sword.

Only the Remnant Will Remain in Jerusalem

Concerning this day, the prophet Zechariah also prophesied saying that the City of Jerusalem would be
invaded, that the houses in Jerusalem would be broken into and that half of the population of the Nation of
Jerusalem would return into captivity.  Zechariah also prophesied saying that at that time many people who
live in Jerusalem would be killed, many women would be raped, and only a small remnant of the People of
Jerusalem would be allowed to remain in the Land of Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:1-2).

At that time God will allow them to come against Jerusalem in order to fulfill the words that God spoke
through His servants the prophets. Although the word of God clearly states that God will stand and fight
against those nations that will come against Jerusalem, the word of God clearly shows that God will not
intervene until the power of the Holy People has been broken, when He has rendered full judgment to
those in Israel who were disobedient to His word. Spiritually speaking, God will remove all the leaven from
Israel and will only keep the remnant of those who will serve Him in spirit and in truth (Zechariah 14:1-3).

Concerning the remnant that would be allowed to remain in Jerusalem, the Prophet Zechariah said that
God would refine Israel as gold and silver are refined through the fire, for two thirds of all the people in the
Land of Israel would be cut off and die and only one third will survive. After His remnant has been refined,
they will call on His name, and He will hear them and they will say Jehovah is my God (Zechariah 13:8-9).

Just as in the time of Moses, when God removed from Israel those who offended Him by giving themselves
into idol worshipping and disobedience, God will once again remove those ones who offend from the land
of Israel.  This will be a time of trouble as the world has never seen before, nor will it ever see it again.
Only those who place their faith in Jesus, the Salvation that comes from God will survive the great and
terrible Day of God.

The Ten Kings will fight against the Lamb, but the Lamb Will Overcome

The Prophet Zechariah prophesied saying that at the time when God will seek to destroy the nations that
came against Jerusalem, the survivors of Jerusalem will receive the Spirit of God’s grace and supplication,
and will recognize the One whom they had pierced. Then they would cry and mourn for Him as one who
cries and mourn for the death of an only son (Zechariah 12:8-11).   It will be after God has removed all of
the leaven from the House of Israel that He will remember the covenant that He made with Jacob His
servant that He will begin to fight for His holy remnant and will destroy those nations that came against
Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:3, Ezekiel 16:60-63, Ezekiel 38:14-23, Joel 2:18-20).

The Seven Heads of the Beast and the Beast That Came from the Abyss

Revelation 20: 7, said that once Satan is released from his prison, he will gather an army from all the
nations of the world to battle against the great City Jerusalem and against the camp of the saints, meaning
that Christian and Jewish believers will be still on earth at the time when Satan is released. Satan whose
head was wounded at the time of Jesus' crucifixion will be released soon to gather the army of Gog and
Magog. The seven heads of the beast of Revelation 17, were these: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-
Persia, and Greece who had fallen by the time of John, the Empire of Rome which extended from Europe
to as far as Pakistan, was the head of the beast that existed at the time of John and Germany through
Hitler who killed 6 million Jews was the seventh head that came and only lasted for a short time. Or do we
think that the killing of 6 million Jewish men, women and children would not appear in the bible?
The next beats that will be rising will be that of the next Muslim Union.

Why Most Christians Believe That They Will Not Be On Earth At The Time Of Gog And Magog?

Part of the reason why many Christians in America, believe that they would not be on earth when this
happens is because of the interpretation that many Eschatologist (end time bible teachers) have given to
Revelation 20:1-4. They claim that Christians will be raptured prior to the time when Satan is bound.
However they fail to see that the ones who went to be with the lord at the time when Satan was bound did
so because the were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, speaking about the disciples whom Jesus had
said that would sit on 12 thrones judging the 12 tribes of Israel (Mathew 19:27-29).

"And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of
them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped
the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and
they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years (Revelation 20:4.)." By the way the word thousand
does not appear in verse 4 of the original Greek New Testament. The word “chilias” means 1000, and the
word “chilioi” which is the word that appears in the original New Testament is the plural of the word
“chilias.” The Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible in reference number 5507 specifically says
that the word “chilioi” is “a plural of uncertain affinity."  In other words, we cannot be certain of the time that
those who were beheaded for the testimony of Christ (meaning the John the Baptist and the apostles) will
rule with Christ, in the same way that we do not know how long Satan will be restricted or bound in this
earth.

Nevertheless, the bible is certain in demonstrating that Satan was bound at the time when Jesus said "
Now is the Judgment of this world, now the prince of this world is cast down (John 12:31)." Didn't Jesus say
that in order to enter the strong man's house and spoil his goods, one had to bind the strong man first
(Matthew 12:29)? The house of the man that Jesus was referring to is the world, and in order for the
gospel of Salvation to reach every nation, Jesus had to bind Satan the strong man, other wise he would
get in the way. This is precisely what Paul taught the believers in Thessalonica concerning the
manifestation and release of Satan. Paul said that something now restrained Satan, so that he may be
revealed in his time, for the mystery of iniquity was already at work: only he who now restrains him will do
so until he is taken out of the way, then the wicked one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with
the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming (2 Thessalonians 2:6-8).  Please
don’t take my word for it.  Read it in your own bibles.  We need to stop following blind guides and look for
the light that is in the word of Jesus.
